Shaheed Al Hafed (refugee camps), Nov 20, 2011 (SPS) - Member of the Preparatory Committee for the 13 th Polisario Congress, Mr. Mohamed Moulud Mohamed Fadel, that adoption of the theme “Independent Saharawi state is the solution” is consistent with the decisions and guidelines set by the Saharawi state under leadership of the sole and legitimate representative of the Saharawi people, Polisario Front, and enshrined in the programme of national action and the constitution issued in the 12th Congress of 2007.
In his answer to q question of SPS on the Congress slogan, the official underlined that the Committee chose the theme “independent Saharawi state, is the solution” as a response to the Moroccan proposal of Autonomy and a confirmation by the Frente Polisario that the establishment of the independent and sovereign Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic “would enable the Saharawi people of their right to self-determination and independence, as well it will evade the region from the cycle of instability.
On other hand, he pointed out that the ongoing negotiations with Morocco under aegis of the UN are aiming to enable the Saharawi people to exercise their inalienable right to self-determination and independence through free and transparent referendum, recalling to the willing which has been expressed by the Polisario Front in cooperating with the UN and its envoy for the success of their efforts.
