Shaheed Al Hafed (Saharawi refugee camps), Oct 23, 2011 (SPS) - The Director of the Institution protection, Mr. Mohamed Alwali Akeik, told Sunday SPS “all the necessary measures have been taken by the Polisario Front to liberate the 3 members of the European NGOs, who was kidnapped Saturday night to Sunday in the Saharawi refugee camps.”
“The Saharawi security forces are pursuing the abductors, whose identity yet to be identified,” said Mr. Mohamed Alwali Akeik, adding “the Polisario Front has taken all measures to ensure safety of the three hostages.”
“Security procedures have been reinforced around members of the foreign humanitarian organizations,” he added, pointing out that the Saharawi government has informed the embassies of Italy and Spain in Algeria about these events and it is in a continued contact with them. (SPS)
