Tindouf(Algeria) Septemper12,2011(SPS) the activities of the third cultural week of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic(SADR) in Algerian city of tindouf have started on Sunday evening in presence of the Saharawi Minster of culture ,Khadija Hamdi the governor of Tindouf,Abdelhakim Shater, parliamentarians from Algeria and Saharawi Republic as well as authorities of tindouf in addition to representatives of Saharawi and Algerian media.
Under the theme “renewal of solidarity and hug inherent Saharawi heritage” the opening ceremony started by Saharawi traditional parades in addition to races of camels before kicking off the exhibition that reflects parts of the Saharawi culture.
In his welcoming speech the governor indicated that this week “has become a good habit” expressing his wishes that the Saharawi people gets his independence like all peoples.
The Minister of culture thanked authorities and citizens of tindouf for hosting this cultural week, saying the organization of this week by the Algerian city is” a message of solidarity with the Saharawi people by culture voice”
“This week is evidence of unwavering position of Algeria in supporting the Saharawi People’s right to self-determination.” she said.
The cultural week of SADR in Tindouf will continue until September 15 were many political and cultural lectures should be presented in addition to musical and poetry concerts .(SPS)
