Shahid Alhafed, August 7, 2011(SPS) the Secretary of state for youth and sports, Mohamed Maulud Mohamed Fadel, started a working visit to Germany and Austria for several days at a common invitation by associations of friendship with the Saharawi people and representations of the Polisario Front in these two European countries to review the program “ vacations in peace”
Mr.Maulud visited Saharawi children who spending this summer with hosted families from Germany and Austria in addition to ;meetings with Polisario’s representatives and heads of the associations to assessment the program and describe best ways to develop it in the future, said a source from secretariat of state for youth and sports.
It should be recalled that thousands of Sahrawi children since lastJuly spending their summer vacations in several European countries especially Germany and Austria in annual program called ‘vacations in peace” in collaboration between Saharawi ministry for youth and sports and associations of solidarity with the Saharawi people in the European countries .
The Saharawi children convey their hopes and suffering of their people and their families who live for more than thirty years in refugee camps waiting for organization of referendum on self-determinations as guaranteed by the UN but has not happened due to Moroccan intransigence and maneuvers in attempts to impose its illegal occupation of Western Sahara.
