New demonstration calls for freedom of Saharawi political prisoners

El Aiun (occupied territories), June 30, 2011 (SPS) - the occupied city of El Aiun has witnessed Saturday a peaceful protest calls for the release of  Saharawi political prisoners, detained following the dismantling of the Saharawi protest camp of Gdeim Izik by the Moroccan army on November 08,2010.

Dozens of relatives, comrades of Saharawi political prisoners marched towards the so-called Court of Appeal in occupied El Aiun, demanding the release of the Saharawi detainees, According to Saharawi human rights activists

Civil society organizations such as the National Federation of support groups  to Western Sahara cause strongly denounced the use of  Spanish military equipment during the assault against the the Saharawi demonstraters in Gdeim Iizik

The brutally of the Moroccan army on November 8, 2010, resulted more than 200 prisoners, dozens of disappearances as well as deaths, among them Baby Hamdai Bugema, 35 years.
