Alicante, June 17, 2011 (SPS) - The association Dar El Karama presents Friday afternoon in Alicante the documentary "Sahrawi: A people on the edge," which tells, through testimony, the tense social situation lived by the Sahrawi people after 20 years of stagnation in the process of the conflict resolution.

The audiovisual production was filmed by a team of Alicante in the Sahrawi refugee camps in April and will include a roundtable, gathering the Provincial Deputy for Social Welfare, Louise Shepherd, president of the association, Ilde Garcia, Polisario Front representative in Spain, Bouchraya Beyoun, and documentary writer and editor of Information, Joaquín Collado.

The video, shot in HD, exposed through its protagonists and experts, "the explosive situation suffered by the Sahrawi on either side of the Wall of Shame built by the Moroccans to perpetuate its invasion of Western Sahara," Joaquin Collado explains.
