Shaheed Al Hafed (refugee camps) June 5, 2011 (SPS) - Member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front and Prime Minister, Mr. Abdelkader Taleb Omar, received Saturday an Algerian caravan of solidarity carrying school kits for the benefits of the Saharawi children in the refugee camp.
During the reception, the Prime Minister expressed appreciation and gratitude of the Saharawi people to such initiative, confirming “this operation will help to relieve the Saharawi families spending on school supplies to 30,000 Saharawi children during next year.”
This caravan, which is organized on the occasion of the International Children's Day, is chaired by the President of the Algerian National Committee of Solidarity with the Saharawi People (CNASPS), Mr. Mehrez Lamari, and have been mobilized by thirty semi-trailers carrying school bags and all necessary school supplies.
The reception was attended by the Minister of Education, Ms. Mariam Salek Hmada, and President of the Saharawi Red Crescent (SRC), Mr. Bouhabeini Yahya Bouhabeini. (SPS)
