Bir Lehlou (Saharawi Republic) 30 October 2021 (SPS)- In reaction to the UN Security Council’s resolution 2602 adopted Yesterday on Western Sahara, the Frente Polisario asserted in a Communique Today that the Saharawi people will continue and intensify their legitimate armed struggle to defend their sovereignty and right to self-determination and independence.

Security Council extends MINURSO mandate for one year

New York (UN), 30 October 2021 (SPS) - The UN Security Council decided on Friday to extend for one year the mandate of the United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO).
The Security Council issued its resolution 2602 on Western Sahara during a session held on Friday, extending the mission of MINURSO until 31 October 2022.
With 13 votes in favour and two abstentions (Russia and Tunisia), the Security Council adopted the resolution presented by the United States.

SPLA attacks the occupation forces in Mahbes

Bir Lehlu, Oct 29, 2021 (SPS) - The Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) refocused its attacks on the soldiers of the Moroccan occupation forces entrenched in the Mahbes sector.
According to War Report No. 350 published Thursday by the Ministry of National Defense, advanced detachments of our army launched intense bombardments against the positions of the occupation forces positioned in the regions of Ameitir Lamjeinza, Abeirat Tanuchad, Rus Asabti, Udei Adamran and Gararat Al-Atasa, in the Mahbes sector.

SPLA attacks enemy soldiers in the Mahbes sector

Bir Lehlu, Oct 27, 2021 (SPS) - The units of the Saharawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) have concentrated their attacks Wednesday against the positions of the soldiers of the occupation forces in the Mahbes sector .
According to War Report No. 349 issued by the Ministry of National Defense, advanced units of our army launched heavy bombardments, which have caused fear and panic in the ranks of the Moroccan occupation forces, in the following positions:
- The Udei Adamran region, in Mahbes.
- The Laagad region, in Mahbes.

Algeria reiterates support to Staffan de Mistura's efforts

Sahrawi Oil and Mine Authority denounces Israeli-Moroccan oil deal

Occupied Dakhla, Oct 19, 2021 (SPS) - The Saharawi Oil and Mining authority, denounced the signature by Morocco, represented by the Moroccan National Office of Hydrocarbons and Mines (ONHYM), of a agreement with the Israeli oil company Ratio Petroleum to explore the Atlantic bloc of the occupied city of Dakhla.
"This agreement represents a new stage in the series of economic crimes perpetrated by Morocco in the occupied Sahrawi territories," said a statement from the said NGO.
