President of Timor-Leste Parliament and its former President support Saharawi just Cause

Dili (Timor-Leste), August 13th, 2021 - The President of National Parliament of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, H.E. Mr. Aniceto Guterres Lopez received Thursday the Ambassador of Saharawi Republic (S.A.D.R) in Dili, Mr. Malainin Abba.
Mr. Malainin was received Friday also by the former President of Timor-Leste and the laureate of the Nobel Peace Prize of 1996, H.E. Dr. Jose Ramos-Horta, which was awarded to him for his work towards a just and peaceful solution to the conflict in East Timor.

SPLA bombard Moroccan occupation forces entrenchments

Bir Lehlu (Sahrawi Republic), August 10, 2021 (SPS) -The Saharawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) continues its bombardment of entrenchments of the Moroccan occupation forces.
The Ministry of National Defense reported Monday in its 271st military communiqué that advanced detachments of our army launched intense bombardments at enemy positions contained in the Moroccan military wall.
According to the military report, the Sahrawi forces have bombed the areas of Udey Asfa, Smara sector, and the Adeim Um Ajlud area, the Auserd sector this Monday.

President of Algeria reiterates that Sahrawi issue is one of decolonization

Algiers, August 08, 2021 (SPS) - The Algerian President, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has reiterated that the issue of Western Sahara was an issue of decolonization, during his regular meeting with the press to inform Algerian public opinion on a number of issues concerning internal and external affairs.
In response to a question about Algeria's international standing and its position on a number of external issues, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune reiterated that the Sahrawi issue was clear and was on the agenda of the United Nations as an issue of decolonization.

WSRW reports illegal export of new wind energy products to Western Sahara

London, 9 August 2021 (SPS)- For the second time in two weeks, wind energy products could be illegally exported from the Spanish city of Bilbao to occupied Western Sahara to build a windfarm in the Sahrawi city of Boudjdour by Spanish company Siemens Gamesa, warned Sunday the international observatory Western Sahara Resource Watch (WSRW).

Brussels, 7 August 2021 (SPS) - Morocco is facing mounting pressure over its crackdown on civilians and human rights activists in the occupied Saharan territories, the International Crisis Group has affirmed.
The Group highlighted in its July report - reviewed by Sumoud - that international pressure was aimed at forcing the Moroccan regime to end the repression against Sahrawis, which escalated dramatically after the outbreak of the war in Western Sahara in mid-November.

According to War Report No. 266 issued by the Ministry of National Defense, Tuesday  units of our army carried out intense bombardments, which caused panic and fear within the ranks of the occupying forces entrenched in the following positions:

Bir Lehlu (Sahrawi Republic), August 03, 2021 (SPS) - The units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) launched new attacks against various positions of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Hauza sector.
According to War Report No. 264 of the Ministry of National Defense, our army bombed enemy positions in the Ras Lagteitra Al-wistani (central) region and Ras Gasbat An-najal, in the Hauza sector.

Minister of Security and Documentation Abdellah Lahbib passes away

Shahid Al-Hafed, 1 August 2021 (SPS) - Member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, Minister of Security and Documentation, Abdellah Lahbib, died Sunday following a Covid-19 infection.
The deceased held several positions within the Sahrawi State and the Polisario Front. He notably held the post of Minister of Defense, Commander of several military regions including the seventh and second regions and finally Minister of Security and Documentation, a position he held until his death.

Pegasus case: Morocco tramples on international legality for decades

Paris, 1 August 2021 (SPS) - Sahrawi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Salem Ould Salek said that the involvement of Morocco in the "Pegasus" spyware scandal did not surprise the Sahrawi leadership, noting that Rabat tramples on international legality for decades.
"Spying is a crime against the Sahrawi government, it is one aspect of the war that Morocco has launched since 1975 against our country," Ould Salek said in an interview with the French magazine Marianne.
