Sahrawi armed forces have "very good" moral, says Ghali

Shaheed El Hafed (Sahrawi Republic), 18 November 2020 (SPS) - Sahrawi President Brahim Ghali said Tuesday that "the Sahrawi armed forces have a very good morale" and "are determined to continue the struggle until they win independence."
"The armed forces have a very good morale and are determined to continue the struggle until they win independence," said Ghali during an inspection visit to the military school "Chahid Ammi."

Khatri Addouh: the war will continue as long as the United Nations shirks its responsibilities

Shaheed El-Hafed (Sahrawi Republic), 18 November 2020 (SPS) -Member of the National Secretariat and head of the political organization of the Polisario Front Khatri Addouh underlined Monday that “the war will continue” as long as the United Nations shirks its responsibilities, especially as the organization hasn’t exert pressure on Morocco to comply with the international legality and respect the agreements of 1991.

Bir Lehlu (SADR Liberated Territories), 17 November 2020 (SPS) - The President of the Republic and Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, has made clear that the Saharawi Republic “does not seek bloodshed, but the Moroccan expansionist regime forced us to go on war.”
In a press statement, the Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces said that the resistance of the Saharawi people “will pursue the language the Moroccan occupation does understand”.

Washington, D.C., 17 November 2020 (SPS) - Once again the Kingdom of Morocco has attacked innocent Sahrawi civilians for peacefully demonstrating their right to self determination, but this time they literally “crossed the line” attacking civilians in the demilitarized zone near Gueruerat border area last week.   International human rights organizations have long condemned Morocco’s brutality against the Sahrawi population in Moroccan Occupied Western Sahara, but this time the Kingdom of Morocco has attacked across the border to the liberated area of Western Sahara.

AWSA condemns Morocco’s violation of ceasefire in Western Sahara

Australia, 17 November 2020 (SPS) - The Australia Western Sahara Association has strongly condemned Morocco’s “flagrant” violation of the terms of the ceasefire in Western Sahara, expressing solidarity with the Saharawi People.
“AWSA condemns the use of the Morocco military to clear unarmed Saharawi civilians who had been demonstrating peacefully in Guerguerat in south-western Western Sahara since late October” said AWSA Secretary, Lesley Osborne.

MAP agency cancels dispatch on Sahrawi army shootings against Moroccan forces in El Guerguerat

Rabat (Morocco), 16 November 2020 (SPS) - The Moroccan press agency (MAP) canceled a dispatch published on Sunday confirming the shooting of the Sahrawi People's Army of Liberation (APLS) against places of entrenchment of the Moroccan occupation soldiers in El Guerguerat.
The dispatch of the MAP said that the Sahrawi forces carried out "shootings” along the Moroccan sand wall against the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) since November 13, "without causing human or material damage.”

Algerian Red Crescent delivers 60 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Western Sahara people

Shaheed Al-Hafed, 16 November 2020 (SPS) - The Saharawi National Human Rights Commission (CONASADH) has warned against possible escalation of Moroccan attacks and violations of civilians’ humanitarian rights in Western Sahara.
In a letter addressed by its president, Abba Elhaisan, to President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Peter Maurer, CONASADH called for immediately undertaking of the necessary measures to protect the Saharawi civilians under Moroccan occupation.

Algiers, 16 November 2020 (SPS) - Sahrawi Minister of Occupied Territories and Communities, Mohamed El Ouali Akik said Sunday that the Moroccan occupation forces continue their "aggressive campaigns" using excessive force against Sahrawi civilians in occupied cities to silence the voice of resistance, while imposing a media blockade to conceal the reality of the situation.

Bir Lahlou (Liberated Territories), 15 November 2020 (SPS) - Sahrawi Foreign Ministry accused on Friday Morocco of distortion of facts to cover its violations of cease-fire in El Guerguerat, south-western Western Sahara. 
"The language and positions used by the Moroccan occupier are all based on untruth and falsification," said the Sahrawi Ministry in a statement, recalling that "Morocco acts and communicates as if Western Sahara is part of its national territory, while this is a clear lie and a well-known frame-up to the international community."
