Saharawi ambassador in Algeria receives Brazilian delegation

Algiers, November 28, 2024 (SPS) - The ambassador in Algeria, member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, Abdelkader Taleb Omar, received a delegation from Brazil following their visit to the Sahrawi Republic, where they observed the situation of Sahrawi refugees and the Sahrawi national experience in building institutions despite difficult conditions and limited resources.

The Brazilian delegation, which includes several figures and representatives of Brazilian civil society, expressed their support and solidarity with the Sahrawi people, stating their satisfaction with the visit and their admiration for the resilience and determination of the Sahrawi people in asserting their legitimate rights to freedom and independence.

For his part, the ambassador thanked the members of the Brazilian delegation for their solidarity visit and their interest in the Sahrawi people and their just cause, assuring them of cooperation and providing all necessary support and facilities to develop solidarity relations with the Brazilian people.

The meeting, which took place at the Sahrawi embassy in Algeria, was attended by the representative of the Polisario Front in Brazil, Ahmed Mulay Ali, and Khalil Hamdi Miyara, responsible for civil society in Algeria.
