Abuja (Nigeria), November 27, 2024 (SPS) - The Sahrawi Republic participated in the proceedings of the fifth extraordinary session of the African Union's Specialized Technical Committee dedicated to financial, technical, and planning affairs in Africa, held in the Nigerian capital, Abuja.

The session discusses the adoption of the African financial stability mechanism and the review and adoption of the amended statute of the African Central Bank, as well as examining and adopting the report from the experts' meeting and the agenda and work program for the meeting of finance ministers.

The Sahrawi Republic is represented at this meeting, which will continue until November 30, by a delegation that includes Brahim Moloud from the Ministry of Economic and Financial Affairs and Hamahullah Mohamed, advisor at the Sahrawi Republic Embassy in Nigeria.
