Bir Lahlu, 30 August 2024 (SPS) - Advanced units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted command and support bases of the Moroccan occupation in the Guelta and Mahbes sectors, resulting in heavy losses in personnel and equipment, according to a military statement issued by the Central Directorate for Political Commissariat of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army on Friday.
The statement highlighted that advanced units conducted concentrated shelling targeting what is referred to as the "sub-command center" of the Moroccan occupation behind the Wall of Shame in the Guelta sector.
Additionally, the Sahrawi army targeted a base belonging to the intervention and support forces of the Moroccan occupying army in the Lahteiba area of the Mahbes sector on Thursday.
