Ministry of Occupied Territories condemns Moroccan occupation's confiscation of Sahrawi property and demolition of their homes in occupied part of Western Sahara

Shaheed Al-Hafed, August 27, 2024 (SPS) - The Ministry of Occupied Territories and Communities denounced in a statement the confiscation of Sahrawi lands and properties by the Moroccan occupation in the occupied part of Western Sahara.

In this context, the statement highlighted the demolition of the homes of Sahrawi citizens southeast of the occupied capital, Laayoune, and their forced displacement from their areas of residence.

The Ministry of Occupied Territories denounced the confiscation of Sahrawi property and encroachment on their lands by the Moroccan occupation, declaring its unconditional solidarity with all defenseless Sahrawi victims of property confiscation and encroachment on lands.

It also called on the international community to urgently intervene to stop the policy of colonial settlement pursued by the Moroccan occupation, warning all partners of the occupation, countries and companies, against engaging in the settlement policy pursued by the Moroccan occupation.
