Moscow (Russian Federation), August 25, 2024 (SPS) - The Sahrawi artistic band "Al Joudour" held its official performance as part of the 18th edition of the international festival "Meeting of Friends" at the premises of the Peter Tchaikovsky State Institute of Music in the Russian capital Moscow.
The evening witnessed a remarkable attendance of diplomatic, political, artistic, literary and even cultural figures, who came to see the Sahrawi folkloric performance, where the audience expressed their great admiration for the unique performance presented by the band, which offered various types of ethnic musical and folkloric performances that reflect the roots and authenticity of the Sahrawi culture and art deeply rooted in history.
There is no doubt that the Sahrawi band in this international event has delivered messages of peace and tolerance from the Sahrawi people to the lovers of peace and justice, and it has also excelled in artistic performances stemming from the distinctive national identity in northwestern Africa."
