Brazzaville (Congo) July 06, 2024 (SPS) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Sidaty, is participating in the proceedings of the International Afforestation and Reforestation Conference organized in Brazzaville, Congo, on July 02 - 05, in his capacity as a special envoy of President Brahim Ghali.

This conference was organized by the Congolese government with the African Union and other partners, where the conference was dedicated to addressing various important environmental issues and the challenges facing Africa in climate-related matters and the transformations witnessed by the world in this regard.

The Sahrawi Foreign Minister held several meetings with heads of delegations participating in this important conference to inform them of the latest developments in the sahrawi issue.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs attended a luncheon hosted by the President of the Congo, Mr. Sassou Nguesso, in honor of the presidents and heads of delegations participating in this international conference.
