Addis Ababa, February 14, 2024 (SPS)- The Sahrawi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mohamed Sidati, arrived on Monday in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, accompanied by the Sahrawi Ambassador in charge of Africa, Mr. Mohamed Yeslem Beisat, to participate in the 44th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of the African Union.
The Sahrawi Republic participated in the 47th Ordinary Session of the Permanent Representatives’ Committee, represented by its Ambassador to the African Union, Mr. Lamman Abaali, and the staff of the Permanent Mission in Addis Ababa, throughout the period from January 14 until February 13.
It is worth noting that the current summit of the African Union will be held at the level of Heads of State and Government on February 17 and 18 under the theme “Educate an African fit for the 21st Century: Building resilient education systems for increased access to inclusive, lifelong, quality, and relevant learning in Africa” in the presence of a presidential delegation of the Sahrawi Republic, led by the President of the Sahrawi Republic and Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali.
SPS
