Sahrawi Republic participates in opening of judicial year of African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights

Shaheed Hafed, 12 February  2024 (SPS) - The President of the Sahrawi Constitutional Council, Mr. Mohamed Mazine, participated via videoconference in the opening of the judicial year of the African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights, which was held at its headquarters in Arusha, Tanzania.

The opening ceremony included welcoming remarks from a number of African legal bodies, including the presidents of constitutional councils, judges, and lawyers representing their countries.

This participation reflects the solidarity and cooperation between African countries in promoting justice and human rights at the national and continental levels.

Through the participation of the President of the Constitutional Council, the Sahrawi Republic affirms its commitment to international law and human rights, and seeks to strengthen cooperation with African countries in this field.
