Sahrawi Republic participates in media forum on communication challenges in Havana

Havana (Cuba), 22 January 2024 (SPS) - The Sahrawi Republic is participating in the International Media Forum on Communication Challenges organized by the Cuban news agency Prensa Latina, in the presence of more than 70 participants from 34 countries.

The International Media Forum was opened by the Cuban President, Miguel Diaz-Canel, held for two days.

The forum discusses the challenges of communication in the current times and the need to build a new international information system that prevents the spread of misinformation and fake news, as well as many issues related to the dissemination of news.

On this occasion, the director of the Sahrawi Media Office in Madrid, Khalil Mohamed Abdelaziz, expressed the appreciation of the Sahrawi people and government for the Cuban revolution and its support for the just struggle of the Sahrawi cause.  

The Sahrawi journalist took the opportunity to reaffirm the commitment to continue the joint and intensive work according to the agreement signed between the Sahrawi News Agency and Prensa Latina, in order to strengthen the bonds of friendship, cooperation, and the exchange of information and news.
