Murcia, Spain, June 27, 2017 (SPS) - A representative of the Frente POLISARIO, in the province of Murcia, Mohamed Labat Moustafa, has signed an agreement today with the Secretary-General of the Spanish Workers' Committees in the Spanish region of Murcia, Santiago Navarro Messiger.
The aim of this agreement is to sensitize the public opinion in the province to the difficult reality experienced by the Saharawi people, especially the difficult conditions in the Sahrawi refugee camps, which depend mainly on humanitarian aids.
On the other hand, POLISARIO’s representative hopes that will gain political and moral support from the political, cultural and trade institutions to help promote and expedite a just and lasting solution to the conflict in Western Sahara.
In March 2017, the workers committees in Murcia region approved a budget aimed at helping the Frente POLISARIO in order to carry out its political and cultural activities on the struggle of the Saharawi cause and alleviating the suffering of Saharawi refugees.
