Amherez (Liberated Territories), 22 February 2020 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Brahim Ghali, has chaired a meeting of the General Staff of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army at the 4th military region, in the liberated area of Amherez.
The meeting came as part of the supervision of the launching of the Ministry of National Defense program of action, following the enlarged meeting of the staff of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army in line with the decisions of the 15th Congress of the Polisario Front, which gave priority to the readiness of the army in anticipation of all eventualities.
During the meeting, the President of the Republic praised the high morale of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army fighters and their constant willingness to defend the country and to protect the liberated territories from all threats.
The President of the Republic, the Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed forces, Mr. Brahim Ghali, had arrived Thursday at the command headquarters of the military operational sector of the 4th region. (SPS)
