Birlahlou (Liberated Territories), 25 February 2023 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted on Saturday the entrenchments of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Mahbas sector, causing heavy losses in lives and equipment, according to military statement No. 736 issued by the Ministry of Defense.
The statement highlighted that advanced detachments of SPLA targeted the Moroccan occupation forces' alert point 141 in the Sabkhat Tanuashad area in the Mahbas sector.
Advanced detachments of SPLA had earlier focused their attacks on the positions of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Mahbas sector in the regions of Aagad Argan and Laagad, according to the statement.
The same source pointed to the successive attacks of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army targeting the strongholds of the Moroccan occupation forces, which "suffered heavy losses in lives and equipment along the berm (the wall of humiliation and shame).
