Kunetra (Morocco), Nov 04, 2021 (SPS) - The Saharawi political prisoner of the Gdeim Izik Group, Sid-Albashir Alali Butenguiza, who is confined in the central prison of Kunetra, in Morocco, went on a hunger strike this Thursday warning for twenty-four hours.
According to the League for the Protection of Sahrawi Prisoners in Moroccan Prisons, the reasons for this strike are due to the lack of attention of the so-called General Delegation for the Administration of Moroccan Prisons, which continues to ignore the complaints and communications sent by the activists' father, Alali Butenguiza, regarding his request to transfer his son to a nearby place so that he can easily visit him and ascertain his situation.SPS
