Bir-lehlou, October 8, 2018 (SPS) – President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, has congratulates President of the Republic of Uganda, His Excellency Mr.Yoweri Museveni, on the occasion of the 56th anniversary of the Independence Day of this brotherly country.
“On behalf of the Saharawi People and on my own behalf, I extend my sincere congratulations on the 56th anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Uganda,” said the President of the Republic.
“I would like to take this opportunity to express our deep appreciation and gratitude of the steady solidarity of Uganda in defending the struggle of the Sahrawi People for their right to self-determination and independence.”
“I strongly believe, Excellency, that the bilateral relations established between the People of Republic of Uganda and the People of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, have played a crucial role in bringing them closer, based on mutual respect and common approach towards key challenges regarding peace and development. In addition, it has for sure enhanced the core role of the African Union to take its natural place in the International arenas,” added the President of the Republic. (SPS)
