Shahid Al Hafid, 24 April 2022 (SPS) - The Permanent Office of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front has reiterated the Sahrawi party's adherence to the legitimate and inalienable right of the Sahrawi people to self-determination and independence, during its ordinary meeting on Saturday chaired by the President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali.
In a final statement, the Permanent Office also stressed the sacredness of the territorial integrity of the Sahrawi Republic and the close connection of the peace process led by the United Nations to these two principles, for which a just and final peace in Western Sahara cannot be achieved without their absolute respect, in line with the resolutions of the United Nations and the African Union and the rulings of the International Court of Justice and the European Court of Justice, given that Western Sahara and Morocco are distinct and separate countries, and according to the fact that the Sahrawi issue is an issue of decolonization that can only be resolved by respecting the rights of the Sahrawi people and the territorial integrity of their country.
The meeting discussed the current situation on all the fronts of national action at various military, political and diplomatic levels.
