Chahid El Hafed (Saharawi Refugee Camps), Nov13, 2018 (SPS) - The President of the Sahrawi Republic, Mr. Brahim Gali, affirmed that the Saharawi State is an irreversible national, regional and international reality, a balancing factor and stability in the region, and without respect for the will and the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination and independence, it will not be able to enjoy real and lasting peace, development and stability.
The Head of Saharawi State during his speech at the meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Monday at the Headquarters of the Presidency, spoke on recent developments of the national question, recalling the invitation of the Personal Envoy of the Secretary General of the United Nations, the President Horst Köhle, to the parties to the conflict in Western Sahara, as well as neighboring countries, Mauritania and Algeria, to meet in Geneva in early December.
The Saharawi leader reiterated the Saharawi government's condemnation of Morocco's attempts to ignore one of the real parts of the conflict and stresses that such arrogance and apathy reflect a clear will to obstruct the UN's efforts and to abort the peace process.
He recalled that the parties to the conflict in Western Sahara are well defined by the resolutions and documents of the UN, are the Frente POLISARIO and the Kingdom of Morocco. slamming Morocco's policy that attempts to violate the basic law of the African Union and its principles and undermine their unity and harmony.
In speaking of the visit made by a high level delegation of the African Union to the Sahrawi Republic, Brahim Gali, praised the firm position of the continental organization of support for the just Sahrawi cause.
He affirmed that the Frente POLISARIO will continue its legal and judicial battle against the Moroccan plundering of the Sahrawi natural resources.SPS
