Madrid, October 20, 2016 (SPS) - Frente Polisario representative in Spain, Ms. Jira Bulahi said Wednesday that "the solution to the conflict in Western Sahara is to organize the referendum on self-determination" to put an end to fourth decades of occupation and suffering of the people of Western Sahara.
Speaking on the sidelines of sixth editions of Cartagena and Murcia universities days of solidarity with Saharawi people, Jira Bulahi stressed during his speech that "Spain should request Morocco to respect the UN resolutions," adding that "the situation in Western Sahara is a political problem and a violation of international law "and therefore, she went on saying," an unfinished decolonization and should be resolved through a referendum."
"The referendum must remain to complete the peace process that Morocco is not willing to fulfill" because it recognizes "that the Sahrawis will vote for independence". She underlined
