Lome, September 11, 2016 (SPS) The President of the Republic of Togo, Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, received Saturday Hamdi Khalil Mayara, Minister for African Affairs, Special Envoy of the President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali.
During the meeting, the Deputy Minister in charge of Africa handed the Togolese President a letter from his counterpart, Brahim Ghali.
The meeting focused on the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them, the latest developments in the region, and blockage of UN efforts to find a just solution guaranteeing the inalienable right of the Saharawi people for self-determination and independence. (SPS)
