Awsard (Refugee Camps), 20 May 2023 (SPS) - The military parade as part of the festivities of the 50th anniversary of the creation of the Polisario Front and the outbreak of the armed struggle against the Spanish colonizer and then the Moroccan occupier, began Saturday, in the wilaya of Awsard, the Sahrawi refugee camps, under the supervision of the President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali.
The military parade to highlight the military, tactical and logistical capabilities of the Sahrawi army also took place in the presence of many foreign delegations and international personalities, as well as friends of the Saharawi cause and human rights defenders.
A large audience representing all sections of Sahrawi society also came to attend this symbolic parade in several respects.
