Conference of Student’s Branches is a "tangible ground" to enhance the next phase, says Prime Minister

 Smara (Refugee Camps ) June 29, 2011 (SPS)- Prime Minister and Member of National secretariat, Abdelkader Taleb Omar, considered Wednesday, The annual Conference of the Student’s Branches as a "tangible ground to draw summaries and decisions for creating the depth of the next phase".

The annual Conference of the Student’s Branches comes to embody the connection between the Saharawi State and its students in their different occurrences through the whole year; it reflects the light on importance given by the state to the youth despite the economic problems. Said Abdelkader Taleb Omarin his speech during the opening of the Annual Conference of the Student’s Branches held on June 29-30 in the refugee camp of Smara

This summer program is a continuation to those efforts aiming to strengthen the regulatory structures and bodies, Prime Minister added.

Programme includes five main stations framing youth activities during the period from June 29 to August 31, 2011.

 The annual conference of the student’s branches comes at the forefront of the youth and students programme of 2011.

The Caravan of Solidarity with the Intifada of Independence is the second station. It focused on supporting the Intifada(uprising) of Independence in the occupied territories of Western Sahara and south Morocco as well as publicizing the situation of human rights.

The programme will also witness launch of innovative strategy, the summer school for youth’s cadres, which aims mainly to provide political content for youth and student’s cadres. It will constitute a space for communication between youth cadres and Polisario Front leaders to take advantage of the outcome of their experiences in the field and be aware of the latest developments concerning the national cause.

A Camp for The Saharawi Scout , will  be set up in Akhshah (liberated zone) and General Conference of the Saharawi Students Union (UESARIO), which evaluates the Union’s programme of action during a complete term and renews its structure, are the final station in the 2011 youth and students programme.
