Stockholm, Aug 21, 2011 (SPS) - A Saharawi youth delegation, includes 14 youth from the occupied territories and refugee camps, has arrived in the Swedish capital, Stockholm, to participate in a programme organized by the Swedish Socialist Party.
The programme witnessed the organization lectures about work of the Swedish Socialist Party presented by intellectuals and heads of organizations in the Party. These lectures focused on the situation of the Saharawis in the occupied territories and refugee camps and ways to open communication between the Saharawis on both outskirts of the Berm.
The lecturers stopped at a number of obstacles that deter the effective joint action, including the censorship imposed by Morocco over the occupied territories as well as discrimination at work and study between the Saharawi and Moroccan students.
The delegations visited, along with members of the Party, historical places such as the place where world leader, Olof Palme, and Swedish foreign affairs minister were assassinated.
It will also meet on the occasion of the Swedish Socialist National Day students, parliamentarians and sympathizers of the Party.
The programme which started Thursday will last for days. (SPS)
