Tifariti (liberated territories), Dec 22, 2011 (SPS) - President of Republic and SG of Polisario Front, Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, asserted Wednesday in liberated territory of Tifariti that his re-election as the head of the Polisario Front reflects the desire of Congress to renew confidence in him, confiming he will not spare any efforts to serve the saharawi people.
In a statement to journalists following his re-election, President Mohamed Abdelaziz underlined he wanted "personally" to vote for another militant to be head of the Polisario Front to continue struggling under his leadership but participants at " Congress insisted on me".
"we will not spare any efforts to serve the Saharawi people, we will not disappoint our militants who put confidence in us"
President of Republic expressed confidence to Saharawi people victory under the leadership of the Polisario Front .
President Mohamed Abdelaziz welcomed "prominent" decisions made by Congress to promote the Sahrawi Students Union (UESARIO) to be a mass organization as well as adopting COTA system to elect women for political positions in the leadership of the Polisario Front. (SPS)
