Shaheed Al Hafed (refugee camps), Jan 22, 2012 (SPS) - The President of the Republic and Secretary-General of the Frente Polisario, Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, stressed on the necessity “to ensure an appropriate conditions to hold responsible elections for the parliament next February,” in as speech delivered Saturday in June 9th School at the opening of work of the supervising national committee of parliament’s elections.
“This national committee, which includes 103 members, is large in terms of number and power in the aim to provide the reasons for the full success to important political process,” noted the President of the Republic.
He also emphasized the importance of the parliamentary institution as “one of the basic tributaries of the Saharawi organization,” noting that the pre-election conferences “are an opportunity to explain vision of the Polisario Front, saying “everything for the people, since it is the main actor.”
Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz pointed to the special phase and possibilities open to us, stressing on the importance of the opportunity to sensitize about the dangers of terrorism that recently hit us with kidnapped foreign nationals, were engaged in noble humanitarian action in the Saharawi refugee camps.
He denounced in this regard this criminal act and drug trafficking in neighboring countries, calling for taking prudence and caution because those methods are weapons by the enemy which tries through it to distort the struggle of the Saharawi people as to eliminate of resistance against the Moroccan occupation.
