Addis Ababa 31, Jan 2012 (SPS) - President of the Republic and Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz has called on Monday in Addis Ababa for stopping the blundering of the Saharawi natural resources by Moroccan authorities of occupation.
Speaking before EU 18th summit, President of the Republic applauded the report of Chairperson of the African Union Commission referring to the historical decision of European Parliament in rejecting the extension of EU-Morocco fisheries agreement which illegally includes the waters of Western Sahara.
He also praised the courageous decision of the U.S. Congress to condition military aid to Morocco by respecting human rights in Western Sahara.
President denounced "the gross human rights violation perpetrated by Moroccan authorities of occupation against the Saharawi defenseless citizens in occupied territories.
In this regard, He called for extension of MINURSO mandate to include the protection and monitoring of human rights in occupied Western Sahara.(SPS)
