Shaheed Al Hafed (refugee camp), May 10, 2012 (SPS) - The President of the Republic and Secretary General of the Polisario Front , Mohamed Abdelaziz, has considered that the perpetrators of abduction of the European aid workers, two Spanish and one Italian, aimed to harm the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), the Polisario Front and the Sahrawi refugees.

In an interview with Spanish newspaper ABC published today, President Mohamed Abdelaziz said these groups resort to such acts "to find financial resources or to make themselves well-known as new terrorist groups."

"The Polisario Front is a democratic movement that advocates equality between women and men, free speech, a model of modern living in line with international demands. This has been achieved in region where there are groups that want to hit the model we are creating here, " said the President.
