Seville (Andalucía), May 19, 2012 (SPS) - Plastic art paintings made by Saharawi artists are present at the Group Exhibition of Fine Arts taking place in Spain on current May 17-22, according to a source of the POLISARIO representation to Spain.
The Saharawi plastic paintings, who participate in the event in coordination with ARTifariti Association, aim to highlight the fine spirit of Saharawi Plastic Art and to aware about the Saharawi cause through shedding light on the reality of Saharawi people in the refugee camps as well as the systematic torture, arbitrary arrest and unfair trails the Saharawis experience in the occupied territories of Western Sahara at the hand of Moroccan state.
The Saharawi paintings will be exhibited at Spain’s biggest displaying hall, in the presence of several personalities and associations that support the Saharawi cause.
The plastic works are belong to eight Saharawi artists: Mohamed Mouloud Yeslem, Walad Mohamed, Mohamed Abaicha, Fadili Yeslem, Salek Brahim, Smail Banan, Mohamed Suleiman and Maddi Ahmed. (SPS)
