Johannesburg (South Africa), May 27, 2012 (SPS) - President of the Republic and Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, has been received at headquarters of the Supreme Academy of Entrepreneurship and Management along with the delegation accompanying him by the Minister of Arts and Culture of South Africa, Mr. Paul Mashatile, accompanied by the Mayor of Johannesburg, on the sidelines of his participation at the Global African Diaspora Summit that took place Thursday and Friday in the same city.
In his speech on the occasion, President of Republic focused on the most common issues that combine the struggle of the two people of Saharawi Republic and South Africa and the latest developments on the Saharawi cause at the international and continental level.
He also congratulated the African National Congress (ANC), and through it the people and government of South Africa, on the centenary of the birth of first modern liberation movement in the African continent, wishing to the people of South Africa further progress and success.
The meeting was also attended by the elected council and local leadership of ANC in the Province of Gauteng, which includes the cities of Johannesburg and Pretoria. (SPS)
