Algiers, Spt 25, 2012 (SPS)The Brazilian Government will make a donation of one hundred and twenty thousand US dollars to support the activities of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in the Saharawi refugee camps, said Tuesday the Embassy the Federative Republic of Brazil in Algeria.
The Brazilian Government hopes that this donation "will be used for the provision of school meals or other services for Saharawi students," said the same source.
A symbolic ceremony of the donation will be held Wednesday at UNHCR headquarters in Algiers in the presence of the Ambassador of Brazil, Henrique Pinto Sardinha and the representative of the World Food Programme (WFP) Mr. Osama Osman. (SPS)
