Chahid Al hafed (refugee camps), Sept 26, 2012 (SPS) - A delegation of the African Commission on Human and People’s Rights (ACHPR) have started today three days visit to the Saharawi refugee camps to assess living conditions of the Saharawi refuges.
The ACHPR delegation paid visit to wilaya of Smara as well as several SDAR institutions .
The delegation also held a meeting with the Minister of Health, Mr. Mohamed Lamin Daddi and Minister of Education, Mrs. Mariam Salek .
For her part, the Chairperson of the African Commission on Human and People’s Rights(ACHPR), Catherine Dupe Atoki, stated that "Africa must urgently find a solution that will enable the Saharawi people of thier full independence"
The head of ACHPR delegation expressed commitement to raise the sufferings of the Sahrawi refugees at the level of Heads of State and Governments of the African Union.(SPS)
