Chahid Al Hafed (refugee camps), Nov 24, 2012 (SPS) - Establishment of the Yemeni Brotherhood and Solidarity Association with the Saharawi People declared Saturday by the Youth and Students League of Yemeni-Algerian Association and Maareb Centre for Human Rights, on the sidelines of their visit to the Saharawi refugee camps.
“We the Youth and Students League of Yemen-Algerian Brotherhood Association and Maareb Centre for Human Rights are pleased to put into force the Yemeni Committee of Brotherhood and Solidarity with the Saharawi People, until they achieved their just right to self-determination,” stated the founding statement of the Committee.
The statement was signed by the Head of Youth and Students League of Yemeni-Algerian Brotherhood Association Ali Hasan Al-Khawlani and President of Maareb Centre for Huamn Rights Nayaf Mubarak Saifi.
The statement urged Yemeni House of Representatives and Shura Council to “open an office for our Saharawi brothers, prelude to establish full diplomatic relations between the two brotherly peoples and nations, who are linked by ties of blood and a common history.”
The announcement took place at a poetry evening, held at the Saharawi Ministry of Information, attended by Mauritanian, Yemeni and Saharawi journalists and poets. (SPS)
