Algiers, December13, 2012(SPS) - The Algerian-Sahrawi parliamentary committee of friendship and brotherhood has been installed Wednesday at the Algerian People’s National Assembly (Lower House of Parliament) in presence of many PMs.
Saida Bounab, deputy from the National Liberation Front (FLN), has been appointed as t the head of the committee.
It will have "to work actively" for "the right of Sahrawi people to self-determination, and will enable the exchange of legal information and cooperation in various fields," Bounab told the press.
The setting-up of this committee shows "Algeria's unfailing support to the Sahrawi cause," said the vice-president of Lower House, in charge of external relations, Mohamed Djemiai.(SPS)
