Smara (Saharawi refugee camps), February 19, 2012 (SPS) President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front Mohamed Abdelaziz, has expressed strong condemnation on the "unjust and cruel" verdicts against the Sahrawi political prisoners of Gdeim Izik group, as indicated in his letter read on Monday before Forum organized by the national Union of Sahrawi Women in Smara on occasion of the commemoration of the national day of Saharawi mother.
President of the Republic sent greeting of respect and homage to those heroes on the courage they have shown in defending the Saharawi people and their just cause and to their mothers and through them to all families of the Saharawi political prisoners and to the Saharawis in the occupied territories and south of Morocco and the Sahrawi students on their solidarity and support to the Group of Gdeim Izik.
on the other hand President of the Republic congratulated Sahrawi mother on adopting February 18 of each year as a special day, which marks the martyrdom of the young mother Shiaa Ahmed Zain, which brutally killed by Moroccan forces in Feb18, 1976.(SPS)
