Algiers, March 31, 2013 (SPS) - Deputy Minister for Maghreb and African Affairs Mr. Abdelkader Messahel held talks Sunday in Algiers with the Personal Envoy of UN Secretary-General for Western Sahara, Ambassador Christopher Ross, as quoted by Algerian Press Agency (APS).
The meeting took place at the headquarters of Algerian foreign ministry.
Last March20th, Mr. Ross began a tour in the region, notably in Morocco, occupied territories of Western Sahara and to the Sahrawi refugee camps.
In the end of his visit to the refugee camps, the UN Envoy said that he came to look for solutions to Western Sahara issue in line with UN Security Council resolutions. (SPS)
