Addis Ababa, May 27, 2013 (SPS) - The President of the Republic and Secretary General of the POLISARIO Front Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz said Monday that Africa “must be grateful to the support of the people and government of Cuba”, during the closing ceremony of the 21st Ordinary Session of the African Union Summit, held in Addis Ababa.
He indicated that despite the difficult and hard conditions, Cubans were present with us in the face of colonialism and racial discrimination during the last previous fifty years, praising Cuba’s support to Africa in many vital areas.
Saharawi President, in the regard, said that Cubans “were present with us in the face of ignorance by their teachers, schools and universities. They were also present with us in the face of diseases and its impacts by their doctors and support in this area.”
