Boujdour (refugee camps), Oct 4, 2013 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz oversaw Thursday evening a ceremony to bid farewell to the sixth batch of Saharawi pilgrims, travelling to the holy sites in Mecca to perform the rituals of Hajj (pilgrimage) for the year 1434 AH.
President of the Republic urged Saharawi pilgrims to focus on perform their Hajj rituals and cooperate to complete this holy pillar of Islam, calling them to pray for of the Saharawi people for victory, reunification and independence.
The Ministry of Justice and Religious Affairs had earlier organized training for Saharawi pilgrims to teach them how to perform the rituals of Hajj correctly.
This batch composed of 10 pilgrims, 4 of which are women.
It is led by the Prime Minister Mr. Abdelkader Taleb Omar. (SPS)
