Chahid Al Hafed (refugee camps), Dec 10, 2013 (SPS) - The Saharawi Minister of Information Mr. Mohamed El-Mami Tamek praised today, Tuesday, the prominent role played by Saharawi journalists in the awarness about the just cause of the Saharawis people.
Speaking at the opening of the speacialized symposium on media, held today in Chahid Al Hafed (Saharawi refugee camps), the minister pointed out to the risks faced by the Saharawi journalists in the occupied territories of Western Sahara and southern Morocco.
He, in this respect, applauded their role in breaking media siege imposed over the occupied Western Sahara.
The Minister took the occasion of the Human Rights Day, celebrated annually across the world on 10th December, to hail the peaceful resistance waged by Saharawi masses in the occupied territories, southern Morocco and in university sites. (SPS)
