Moscow (Russia), May 02, 2014 (SPS) - Secretary General of the Union of Sahrawi Women Ms. Fatma Mehdi participated Thursday in a conference organized by the Union of Russia Women in Moscow and attended by many Russian and international women organizations.
The Union of Russian Women known as "Hope of Russia" affirmed it will continue to support the Sahrawi women in thier struggle.
The meeting was an opportunity to highlight the struggle of the Sahrawi people and women particularly in the occupied territories of western Sahara.
It was also an opportunity to meet with many Russian organizations and associations and some political and cultural figures. (SPS)
