Chahid Al Hafed (refugee camps), June 21, 2014 (SPS) - Minister of Cooperation Mr. Brahim Mojtar received Saturday the delegation of the Colombian Senate, visiting the Saharawi refugee camps.
The Saharawi minister informed they interlocutors about the latest developments on the question of Western Sahara, especially the situation of human rights in the occupied territories of Western Sahara and Morocco's looting of Saharawi natural resources.
In the camps for a 3-day solidarity visit, the delegation is composed of Jorge Enrique Robledo (Left Alliance Party), Mr. Juan Manuel Galán (Liberal Party) and Juan Mario Laserna (Conservative Party).
The delegation will hold talks with Mr. Khatri Addouh, speaker of the Saharawi National Council (Parliament) this evening.
It is to be recalled that Colombia recognized the Saharawi Republic (SADR) on February 27th, 1985. (SPS)
