El Aaiun (occupied territories), Aug 27, 2014 (SPS) - Moroccan occupying authorities on Tuesday expelled 6 Basque activists from the occupied city of El Aaiun, capital of Western Sahara.
The six activists are Aratz urruzmendi, Jon Sarasola, Itziar Gomez Cruzado, Nora Ayerdi and Xabier Zurutuza.
The group was arrested for hours, before being thrown out of the city towards the Moroccan city of Agadir in a taxi car.
The move comes as part of a large-scale campaign initiated by the Moroccan repression forces targeting international journalists and observes, aimed at hiding its gross violations of human rights against the Saharawi people. (SPS)
