Dakhla (occupied territories), Dec 01, 2014, (SPS) – Moroccan authorities started new war against Saharawi human rights activists, coinciding with the world forum for human rights organized in Moroccan city of Marrakech, according to a source of Ministry of occupied territories and community abroad.
According to the same source, this war began with new strategies, through which Moroccan authorities exert pressure on the families of the Saharawi activists, and monitor their moves in the occupied city of Dakhla, where many of the activists have subjected to confiscation of economic rights and cut their salaries, as well as their families.
The source added that the aim of this policy targeting Sahrawi human rights activists and defenders of human rights and economic and social rights of the Saharawi people, is to exert pressure on them to stop their struggle, calling for the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination and independence.
